			<description> Destiny is an accredited Texas charter school with teachers and administrators whom have been certified through the Texas Educational Agency (TEA), and is closely monitored by the TEA&amp;#39;s Charter School Division.  All our textbooks and class curriculum is based on Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS).Destiny is one of seven Honors Academy District Campuses. It was granted a charter by the Texas Education Agency in 1999. Honors Academy is led by John Dodd, President and Chief Executive Officer and Mike Anderson (/mike-anderson-honors-area-superintendent.html), Area Superintendent. The Honors Board of Trustees is comprised of accomplished community leaders whose goal is to provide the best leadership and direction for education excellence.
